The timing bar shows valid regions and keys for trackers, roto masks, etc, depending on what is currently selected, and the active panel. Shows hold regions with magenta bars at the top of the frames.
There are two possible backgrounds: one showing whether frames are cached or not, the other whether there a reasonable number of trackers or not (for the given solving mode). Select between them via the View/Timebar background menu item.
There is an extensive and largely self-explanatory right-click menu for the Timing bar; it lets you jump to various frames, set various time-related values, and even save and recall multiple playback ranges.
You can drag the current time marker around, but also you can use control- middle-drag to change the time from within all SynthEyes view types, such as the camera, perspective, 3D, graph, etc views. While control-middle-dragging, you can release control once started to increase sensitivity and move faster, and hold down shift to move yet faster.
Green triangle: start of replay loop. Left-drag, current frame tracks with it.
Red triangle: end of replay loop. Left-drag, current frame tracks with it.
Black triangle: key on the select object.
Gray triangle: variant appearance of tracker key, when there is a key on a secondary channel of a tracker, but not a position key.
Green bar: The Begin frame on the solver panel. Display only.
Red bar: The End frame on the solver panel. Display only.
Left Mouse: Click or drag the current frame. Drag the start and end of the replay loop.
Shift-drag to change the overall starting or ending frame. Control-shift-drag to change the shot length and end frame, even past the end of the shot (useful when the shot is no longer available).
Middle Mouse: Drag to pan the time bar left and right. Control-drag to scrub the timeline, control-shift to scrub faster. See above.
Middle Scroll: Scroll the current time. Shift-scroll to zoom the time bar.
Right Mouse: Horizontal drag to pan time bar, vertical drag to zoom time bar. Or, right click to open the right-click menu, or cancel an ongoing left or middle-mouse operation.
