Macroscopic Differences

One reason that re-solving or refining scenes can sometimes produce apparently large changes in error is that some trackers may be automatically changed to Far or dropped from solving completely, resulting in an "apples to oranges" comparison. You can use the "Never convert to Far" checkbox in high-noise situations when trackers are certainly nearby, but can't force all trackers to be solved, because the ones that aren't are typically behind the camera, at least during the initial portion of the solving. Those trackers may get solved by subsequent Refine solves, once the camera path is better known.
