Commands labeled with an asterisk(*) require a working internet connection. An internet connection is not required for normal SynthEyes operation, only for acquiring updates, support, etc.
User Manual PDF. Opens the main SynthEyes User Manual PDF file. Be sure to use the PDF’s bookmarks as an extended table of contents, and the search function to help find things.
Planar Tracking PDF. Opens the 3-D Planar Tracking Manual.
Geometric Hierarchy Tracking PDF Anamorphic Shots Guide PDF Camera Calibration PDF
Phase PDF. Opens the Phase Reference manual.
Synthia PDF. Opens the manual for the Synthia Instructible Assistant. (Start Synthia with the IA button)
Sizzle PDF. Opens the Sizzle scripting language manual.
SyPy Python PDF. Opens the manual for the SyPy python interface to SynthEyes.
Recent Change List PDF. Opens the roster of changes to this version and prior versions (as also found in the support area of the website).
License Agreement. Opens up the SynthEyes license agreement in a separate viewer for your reference.
Read Messages*. Opens the web browser to a special message page containing current support information, such as the availability of new scripts, updates, etc. This page is monitored automatically; this is equivalent to the Msg button on the toolbar.
Suggest Features.*
Tech Support*. Opens the technical support page of the web site.
Tutorials*. Opens the tutorials page.
Boris FX Home*.
Purchase License or Renew License *. Takes you to web pages to purchase a SynthEyes license or renew the license if it is nearing expiration.
Activate License. Activate a license purchased from the Boris FX store.
Deactivate License. Deactivate a SynthEyes license from Boris FX, for example to move it to a different machine.
Check Subscription. Check on the renewal status of a subscription.
Register. Launches a form to enter information required to request SynthEyes authorization for older licenses (serial numbers) purchased from the ssontech.com store. Information is placed on the clipboard. See the registration and authorization tutorial on the web site.
Authorize. After receiving new authorization information for a serial number originally purchased from the ssontech store, copy it to the clipboard, then select Authorize to load the new information.
Check for Updates*. Manually tells SynthEyes to go look for new builds and messages. Use this periodically if you only connect to the internet periodically. Equivalent to the D/L button on the toolbar.
Install Updated. If SynthEyes has successfully downloaded an updated build (D/L button is green), this item will launch the installation.
