Constrained Points Right-Click Menu

The constrained points view has an extensive right-click menu, for controlling the view itself and for modifying the coordinate settings of various trackers.

If you right-click ON a tracker, the menu and any operation will reflect and affect that tracker for sure; if the tracker is selected, the menu will also reflect and affect all other selected trackers also. If the tracker was not selected to begin with, it will be selected afterwards (and other trackers unselected), so that the Coordinates panel will reflect any change made by the menu operation. Some menu items, such as Seed status, will be checked to reflect the current state of the affected tracker; if multiple trackers are selected, the item is checked if any of the trackers have that property.

Sort by Name. Changes to that mode.

Sort by Error. Changes to that mode.

Clear axis locks. Clears the X/Y/Z axis locks (Unconstrained, Lock Point, Origin…) dropdown of affected trackers.

Clear target point. Clears the target point (tracker) of affected trackers.

Clear except seed. Clears the axis lock dropdown, polarity settings, target point, and distance constraint. Leaves the XYZ lock (seed) coordinates untouched for future manipulation.

Clear seed too. Clears the axis lock dropdown, polarity settings, target point, distance constraint, XYZ lock (seed) position values, Seed setting, and Peg setting of affected trackers, ie all coordinate-system-related tracker settings.

Clear ALL constraints. Same as “Clear seed too”, but does this for all trackers unconditionally.

Set seed from solved. Sets the XYZ lock (seed) coordinates to the current solved location of the affected trackers. Excludes trackers with a target point. Typically used with From Seed Points solving modei, possibly after Select all seeds.

Lock selected at solved. Sets the XYZ lock (seed) coordinates to the current solved location of the affected trackers. Does not mark them as seeds, but does lock all three coordinate axes. Note: Unlike other operations, this one affects selected trackers that aren’t clicked on. Excludes trackers with a target point.

Set distance. Sets the distance value to the current distance between the tracker and its target tracker, for each affected (clicked and/or selected) tracker. Happens only when the tracker and target are solved and there is an existing non-zero distance value between them.

Select all seeds. Select all trackers that are Seeds (ie Seed button is on when selected).

Update all locked. Set the XYZ lock (seed) coordinates to the solved coordinates of all trackers that have an axis lock dropdown that is not Unconstrained, ie that have some axis locked. Excludes trackers with a target point. Typically used to null out the errors of an auto-Place coordinate setup, after the solve has been updated or manually repositioned.

Unsolve tracker(s). Clears the indication that a tracker has been solved, including the specific XYZ values.

Seed status. Toggles the Seed-button status of the affected trackers.

Peg status. Toggles the Peg-button status of the affected trackers.

Far status. Toggles the Far-button status of the affected trackers and marks it as not solved. Affects the stereo pair tracker also.

ZWT status. Toggles the zero-weighted-tracker status of the tracker, forcing a recalculation of its location if it just became a ZWT. Affects the stereo pair tracker also.

Home list. Scroll to the top of the list, typically for seed-mode or place-mode setups.

End of list. Scroll to the bottom of the list, typically for seed-mode or place-mode setups.

Rescale columns. Rescales the width of the constrained-point columns to match the current width of the viewport.
