Softly: Yes or No
Controls the type of smudging or relaxing, either soft-selected or not.
In Softly: Yes, the vertices in the interior of the brush are fully selected, and a soft-selection is generated to vertices outside the brush, to vertices within the Range
value along the surface. The brush size is typically fairly small. This mode can be used to move the upper half of a lip without selecting the lower, for example.
In Softly: No, the vertices in the interior of the brush are moved varying amounts, depending on their distance from the center of the brush. The center of the brush moves 100%, and the outer edge of the brush doesn't move at all. In this mode the brush size is typically fairly small.
