Relax Mesh

Relax Mesh causes a mesh to be successively blurred ("melted", "smoothed", or "relaxed") as directed by airbrush-like controls. As you spray the mesh, the peaks and valleys underneath erode gently into a flat plain. This is typically used to soften inadvertent sharpness created by the smudge tool.

Note : Relax assumes that any scaling on the mesh scales all three axes equally. If they are different, the result may be somewhat different than expected.

Like the Smudge tool, Relax is controlled by the brush size, strength, Surface/Thru, Softly, and Range controls, plus the Flow, Lock Edge and Kernel value. For details, see the discussion of them above, and the Softly, Lock Edge, and Kernel controls below.

You can use the mouse wheel before or during smudging to change the range (Softly: Yes) or size of the brush (Softly: No).

You can also click on a different mesh to select it instead.
