Major Stages of GeoH Tracking

Here's a quick rundown of the steps involved in GeoH tracking. Each will be discussed in more detail in following sections of this manual.

- Modeling . Create the 3D mesh(es) that will be tracked.

- Rigging . Create a matching joint structure to track/animate the mesh(es).

- Aligning . Position the mesh/rig to precisely match one frame of the shot.

- Tuning Out Distractions . Optionally mask out small temporary issues such as fingers that occlude the tracked object. (Not in Intro version).

- Tracking & Cleanup . Run the tracker through the entire shot, monitoring it, making any necessary corrections.

- Exporting . Send the completed tracked scene to your 3D animation or compositing packages, including object paths and deformed meshes.

You can combine modeling, rigging, and and aligning, by building the mesh in- place, if the scenario is simple and you have some experience.
