SynthEyes Targets Apple Silicon

* November 10, 2020. For immediate release.

Andersson Technologies LLC (Phoenixville, PA) will be releasing a native Apple Silicon (ARM) version of its SynthEyes 3-D tracking and match-moving tool, which is also available for Intel processors running macOS, Windows, and Linux.

On both Apple Silicon and Intel-based machines, SynthEyes for macOS will support Retina displays and Apple's CoreML, which can utilize the GPU and the special neural network hardware on Apple Silicon M1 machines.

As part of this effort, SynthEyes for all platforms has received graphics and other updates. You can see a work-in-progress screen capture now. The final feature set will be announced when the software is released.

The release date of the next version, including Apple Silicon support, will be determined by the availability of final versions of third-party video decoding and scene export libraries, and synchronization with the next regular SynthEyes new-feature release. Additional information may appear on our blog.

SynthEyes pricing starts at 250 USD for the Intro version. A variety of license types are available; please see the website below.
