Intel Mac Version of SynthEyes Tracker Now Available

Andersson Technologies LLC has made the Intel-Mac version of its SynthEyes 2006.5 3-D tracking application commercially available. SynthEyes licenses for the Intel-Mac version may be purchased for $399*, which is the same price as for PowerMacs and Windows XP. Customers may upgrade from PowerMac or Windows XP licenses of SynthEyes 2006 to an Intel Mac license for $50. Upgrades from SynthEyes 2004 to 2006 are $149.

Pricing of the native 64-bit version of SynthEyes 2006 for Windows XP Pro 64 is now $449, with $100 to switch from a different 2006 platform, or $199 to upgrade from SynthEyes 2004 to 64-bit SynthEyes 2006.

SynthEyes offers a complete high-end feature set, including camera tracking, motion capture, object building, object tracking, camera+object tracking, multiple-shot tracking, tripod (nodal) tracking, zooms, lens distortion, light solving, RAM playback, image preprocessing, rotoscoped object separation and more. It can handle shots of any resolution---DV, HD, film, IMAX---and can be used on long shots with thousands of frames. SynthEyes exports to around 25 common animation and compositing packages; scripting lets you customize the standard exports, or add your own imports, exports, or tools. 

Recent major credits include King Kong, which won 3 Oscars, including Visual Effects, and the Visual Effects Society award-winning 3-D IMAX feature Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3-D.
