I am loading an AVI file, which has 2400 frames. SynthEyes leaves everything after 1950 frames totally black. Applies to other videos too, thwy are truncated. Is there a length limitation?

It'll stop if you run out of ram, otherwise, I have no idea.

I have SynthEyes 64 bit, and run Vista 64 Bit and have 8Gb og RAM.
But you are right, it seems to be a memory issue.
When I load the 960x540 AVI video, Synteyes stops at 1950 frames, the rest of the video is black.
When I shrink the same video to 480 x 270, SynthEyes shows all frames.
Actually, I want to use 1920x1080, for best quality.
I run Vista 64 and have 8 Gb RAM.
I this case, I use SynthEyes for stabilizing. For the best quality, I must use high-res video.
How can I solve this?
Edited:
I solved it by using an image sequence instead of a video file. An image sequence has only advantages, no drawbacks as far as I can see. So I will use image sequences hereafter, for all my work.

You don't have to have every frame loaded. If you can just work on it in small chunks that works too. Syntheyes will load the frames it needs when it wants, it's not going to only solve for the frames that are active.

Indeed, image sequences are the ONLY way to go. That's the way the visual effects industry works.

Note: the limit here is in the AVI. QT & AVI aren't very 64-bit or multi-thread friendly. I keep hoping those guys will get their act together and produce a modern QT especially, but zip from Apple. In the meantime, sequences rule.
