Hi guys,
I have a project coming up where I'm going to do a camera track in a miniature, so i need some directions on what to think about.
We have done some initial test on a smaller model, but i cant get a good track from that. So some tips on work flow when working with miniatures would be grate.

There's nothing different about miniatures per se, if you have a tracking problem it isn't due to the size. The one thing I'd be watchful for----it seems possible that working in a cramped miniature might lead one to use wider-angle lenses which would have more distortion. You might also be more prone to seeing some FOV breathing if focus changes, and might have to treat shots as zooming for that reason.
You need to look at what and why you're not getting what you expect, there's always a reason. |
