|
hi all-
i have a quick question
does syntheyes calculate lens distortion on nodal pans? or does the camera have to translate and create parallax?
second is there a table somewhere that tells me the right right lens distortion for my panasonic hvx200 at different focal lengths?
thanks in advance

Yes. But there needs to be substantial 'information content' in the shot that allows distortion to be distinguished from lens fov and from random noise.
Using a check line is probably a better idea in most circumstances if a suitable line is available.

only if someone has gone to the trouble to make one. |
