There is a new script to export all the meshes in a scene, including builtin primitives such as sphere, cylinder, etc, as a unit to downstream animation packages. There, you'll see one big object containing the several disconnected pieces of mesh. Locate this object at the origin (tends to be the default), and it will match what you did in SynthEyes.
