Hi im very new in the mocap field.
Im looking at Syntheyes and other products, but can't figure out what the difference is.
For example
-Zign track
-Easycapstudios
etc
what makes one better then the other?
why is the difference in cost so great?
Maby the better question would be, what programs/equipment should i use for what?
I want to accomplish things like the match moving tutorial on the website. Perfect example really, so that works out
http://ssontech.com/content/boxmatch.htm
But also facial capture. Sorry to say and i might not be patient enough to read the manual through but it seem to be alot of work to set up a facial track.
Everything worth learning takes time, but can someone give me an indication of what to expect from Syntheyes, or any other program for that matter.

Sorry if this message is less cohesive, and spelling might not be the best.
Thanks in advance! |

correction
I think i misunderstood the tutorial content of match moving.
I thought it was the lorry, moving in the clip that was a 3d-model.
Witch is what im striving for, I have now seen in another tutorial on the website how to create a clean plate and "inserting" a 3d-model.
However, the idea of adding 3d-models to a scene had already bean brought to my attention.
just adding this to avoid unnecessary explanation |
