|
|
I have been using a Gyro Stabilizer to try to smooth out the footage, but it doesnt seem to help me much.
I have shot footage from helicopters and while walking, yet there are always pronounced jitters in the footage that screws me up in the track.
Do I need to purchase a Steady Cam or other type of device?
My camera is a Canon XHA1.
Thanks,
David |

| I've had very positive experiences with the Glidecams - check it out: http://www.glidecam.com/ |

Is the Problem that your shots arenīt as smooth as you want, or that you canīt track them properly because they are not smooth enough?
For smoother camera moves, use the usual Tools: camera stabilizer as steadycam, Glidecam, or a Dolly..
You can stabilize afterwards with syntheyes, too.
And if the shot is done right, you can even track a wild shaking handcam-footage. But you need things to track, watch out for motionblur an so on.. |
