|
|
Hey all,
I'm pretty new here and first wanna say a short "hi" to all the other syntheyes-followers
Following issue:
I'm having very good tracks created through supervised (sv) tracking. I set up a hold region in the beginning of the shot, because there the camera is panning, after the hold region normal translation ist happening and is giving me a satisfying solution for the "real 3d movement".
I'm now wondering why I cannot use the sv-tracking points with the "At-Hold Region Tracker Prep Skript" to duplicate the trackers to be far in the hold area with a neat translation into the 3d movement!?
I only can used peeled and goldened tracks or doing an autosolve - but thats not giving me anything good in the end, even not partially.
I would love to hear some other experiences or solutions to this problem
Thanks in advance

Hey man,
same problem here. Seems this forum is dead, already seen a lot of unanswered questions here. Maybee we have to ask the tech support directly, but I have no clue how to make contact with them... |

| For contacting tech support, just follow the links on the www.ssontech.com website, it's right there. Russ is usually very supportive to questions from users. This forum is for users by users, official support is done through ssontech. |

Allright. I give it a try.
I'll tell you how to face the problem if Russ tells me |

Hey borgus,
it's quite easy - basically you have to proceed the steps manually which the script would do for you in automatic mode:
You set up a hold region and let the 3D-Track Features kind'a bleed-in the hold region some frames (say 3 or 7, not a large number) and then disable all of them.
Additionally you could key the "weight" of the 3D-tracker on the first frame of the hold-region to 1 and at it's end a few frames later to 0. That may produce a smoother result..or it's religious, i don't know
Now you could place special trackers for your Hold-Region (from the very beginning to the end), but mostly i just export and import the original 3D Trackers (since i tracked them all the way through) and disable them outside the Hold-Region, make them "far" and - finished!
Hope that helps!?
Cheers,
Jules |

Hi Jules,
thank you for your help, you really helped me! I just still wonder why the tracker preperation doesn't work with manual trackers.... |
