Hi!
This is only a minor problem, but I still thought I could ask if there is some fix to it:
When I import a png sequence from an Adobe program to Syntheyes I get the correct pixel aspect ratio (in my case 1.33 since it's dvcpro hd).
But when I export it from Syntheyes and import it back to the Adobe program (usually Premiere of After Effects) the Adobe program always interprets the png-files to have a square pixel aspect ratio.
This means I need to manually re-interpret the footage on every import to get the correct aspect ratio.
Why won't Adobe programs understand the aspect ratio from Syntheyes while it works the other way around just fine? |

I think Syntheyes just uses the images size and assumes on the AR (based on the fact I can import some 800x600 footage and it's PAR 1.0, 1280x720 HD footage is HD PAR).
Adobe (and I don't think any NLE) assume nothing on startup, I'd assumed they all think 1.0 because there's no info. |

| Isn't there an aspect ratio selector in the image processor? Under "output" there's an "output resampling" section, and there's an "aspect ratio" setting there. Perhaps this could solve the problem? |
