My Thread "New tutorial idea" has no reaction anymore.
Here is a Syntheyes Complete Training Online Now.
- Solving a shaky handheld shot
- Modeling with Syntheyes
- Solving Tripod shots - with 3d environment?
- A moving camera - and a moving object!

| Saw the sample thanks. Was just wondering if there was anyone here that had bought it and wanted to comment on their experience of it. |

Hi Gordon...I picked this up over at cmiVFX. I was just about to watch a chapter again just now, and thought I'd check here for any updates to Syntheyes...looking forward to there being scene building tools within syntheyes.
Anyway, I'm pleased about my purchase of Eagle66' tutorial. For me there are loads of juicy bits. Of note:
- I particularly appreciate the example and explanation of working with nodal shots.
- I'm about to watch over again the manual tracking of a particularly blurry bit of footage as this provides a good solid workflow.
The option to purchase of dvd/download would be nice. However, the online-streaming player is functional enough.
Eagle66, when are you bringing out the compositing tutorial you mention in this training? |

Comes with the footage used in the tutorial. As far as I'm aware...it's only streaming.

Hey!
I just found this thread and want to say thanks for bringing up my tutorial here in this forum. Even though all questions seem to be already answered, Id like to add that
- yes, unfortunately it's only streaming. Although the Player comes with chapters and you can scrub forward and backwards, so it should be pretty usable
- yes, the tutorial comes with the footage, 4 HD clips in h264, recorded with the canon 550d at 29,97 fps
- the follow-up-tutorial, Advanced Compositing with Blender, which uses the footage and tracks from this Syntheyes tutorial, will probably be published in september. Hopefully I can manage to finish it until then.
Cheers everybody and if there are any questions or comments or critique, don't hesitate to tell me! |

Cheers sebastian. Had a quick look having downloaded and it looks interesting.
Even more happy that it uses footage from the 550D as that is the camera I have.
Looking forward to working through it. |

| Does the nodal pan include details and procedures for using reference/helper images, in order to get 3d positions ? |

There is the use of a door way to gauge the scale and the axis system is set up that would allow shadow cathers to be made. |
