I'm new to SynthEyes. I just purchased it and I did a couple of quick tests. I downloaded the Gekko on the curb video tutorial, solved and exported to Blender and Poser Pro 2010. In the export I included a small box. In Blender I loaded the background video and everything lined up perfectly the way it did in SynthEyes. But when I did the same thing in Poser Pro 2010, the box is sliding slightly against the video.
I kept everything at 720 x 540 in SynthEyes, Blender, and Poser. Also, I did set Poser and Blender to 30 fps like the video file I made from the stills.
Now as we all know, sliding is usually caused by the object being at the wrong height. So, after wasting a lot of time.....ugh....I zoomed in and discovered that the box created by the python file was not sitting at the same height as the tracker like in Blender. Instead, the box mid-point was sitting at tracker.
Is the geometry exported from SynthEyes suppose to be lined up properly in Poser Pro 2010? It is in Blender. |
