Using version 2011.

Here's my issue: I do the tutorial until I get to the linking part. I follow the instructions in the tutorial: I left click on a tracker in shot 1 (the still's) then alt-click on a tracker in shot 2 (land2dv.avi). When I alt click a red circle appears around the tracker. I assume it's linked.

I do this for all trackers. Then I go to the solve panel, unchecked "constrained" & change the solve mode from "automatic" to "independently" (I assume that's what the manual means by "independent"). Then I hit the solve button (go) and it says the shots aren't linked. I'm assuming I did something wrong with linking because I also downloaded the example scene files & tried the linking with #3 but I get the same error.

Anyone able to help?
