I started tracking a scene at frame 35 and got it all tightened up. I did some manual trackers and got an additional 25 auto trackers. Now that I have it where I want it, I would like to get the first 35 frames while keeping my current solve. I am guessing that I need to continue tracking for all the trackers and auto trackers to do this and then solve forwards. Do I need to do auto trackers and manual trackers for the whole duration, and then solve in sections?
Has anyone tried or encountered this? Thank you in advance for any thoughts or ideas. |

Building solve up like this is a rutine.
Solver doesn't really distinguish before solving forwards and backwards.....
Extend your 2D tracking to the full shot and Refine solver mode should give you what you need.
A bit more advanced is if you want, for some reason, to prevent the current solution from any tiny little change. That requires locking of camera path, FOV and poincloud. But that's a very special case.
Have fun.

Thank you for clarifying how the solver works. Just the info that I was looking for. |
