I've set up a basic distance constraint, which helps with the screen scale issue (I used to scale up the camera and point cloud in flame by a factor of 5000 or scale down every added object by the inverse).
The thing is, while the distance constraint helps quite a bit, there's no difference between the in-flame scaling with a two thousand distance and a two million one.
I'm likely missing something. I set one point as the origin, then alt-clicked a second point reasonably nearby and exported the file with various different scales dialed in. I made sure to save the scene before export, and to hit enter after putting in a new number. No difference. |
