Hello all,
I suppose im directing this at Russ but if anyone else can answer then ill be very happy too.

I have worked through the new tutorial called 'Lens Workflow #2 Distorted Images Out', also i got myself printed the PDF file of the 'Lens Grid' and done the related tutorial 'Centering and Distortion' with my own camera.

So now i have my U & V values to set in the Image Preprocessor and i have to say, there is an improvement to my end results so im well happy.

My question is more a confirmation on if i have got my workflow correct here using the U & V figures i have gained from the centering tut. Heres my imagined workflow -

I import my footage and input my U & V figures in the Image preprocessor to sort out the centering right from the start (which increases my resolution just a bit). I then effectivlly follow the 'Lens Workflow #2' at which point it increases my res just a little bit more as explained in the tut and then i render out a new sequence to use in my 3D app - So then i render my 3D element(s) at this twice enlarged res, re-open my syntheyes file, follow the second part of the tutorial which effectivlly reintroduces the distortion into my 3D element, lastly i will set the U and V values back to zero in the Image preprocessor to clear the centering part - Theoreticly at this point i should have a CG plate/Clip at the origonal resolution but with the distortion applied to it which syntheyes calculated origonally, thus, all should line up perfectly.

Does that sound about right to you guy's ??
