Hi Guys,
I need some help/advice with getting a track from Syntheyes in Nuke or Modo.
I am currently following a course over at FXPHD, and one of the tutorials is a shot from from a GoPro i think, with a super wide angle lens.
So the main theme to the tutorial is undistorting the plate then tracking it.
The track in syntheyes is good, i place an earthling in the scene and it sits in there nicely on the undistorted sequence.
Now I want to use it in Nuke or Modo.
I export the undistorted jpg sequence (from syntheses).
I export the syntheyes track as a modo perl script and as a nuke file.
When I jump over into both Nuke and Modo and open the exported projects I am running into issues, the track doesn't line up perfectly like it does in Syntheyes.
I relink the modo and nuke projects to the undistorted jpg sequence.
But it looks like what syntheyes has exported is based on the original plate, not what was tracked on the undistorted plate.
So the earthling doesn't line up in Modo or Nuke.
Check out where the trackers are in these images, they are in the same positions in Nuke and Modo, but unfortunately don't match what was in Syntheyes.
Please let me know what I am missing!
Thanks
Adam

hi!
did you run a slove after doing the "lens workflow"? Double check if the trackers
in SE are locked to their features when scrubbing thourgh the timeline.
double check the fov and focal lengh in all three applications. Remember
to also do "apply to trackers" when you work with the distortion values
in the imagePrep window.
GoPro lenses are tuff to track, especially when you don't have no grids!
