Sorry for this very basic question, but how to import a 3ds file in SS (to place it in a footage) ?

Hi Laurent,

If I understand your question correctly, you are trying to bring a 3d mesh into syntheyes. You are not able to bring 3ds files to syntheyes, only .OBJ and .DXF files. You can export your 3ds max object as a obj file however. From 3dsmax, just go to file-->export and choose .OBJ as type of file. This will allow you to bring in the converted file just fine.
