SynthEyes has proven popular in schools worldwide:

We offer two pricing programs for educational institutions:
- A licensing program for school-owned classroom computers, with a minimum order of five non-floating seats, and
- A program offering limited-duration licenses for student-owned computers, so they can do their homework and projects on their own computers.
The student pricing program merits more explanation. Your school can purchase a block of limited-duration licenses—3, 4, 6, 9, or 12 months—against your current and future needs. The licenses don't start running until they are issued, so you can purchase in advance for a year or more's worth of students, to make possible even larger quantity discounts (minimum: 50 licenses). As a result, the per-student price is comparable to that of a textbook, and not even an expensive one. You can roll that price into tuition, or unbundle as a lab fee.
